****

Oliver, Red and White Bi-Color Persian Male
Her babies will remain on our Nursery page and then will be made available on the Available Kitten Page. Please enjoy watching the videos and looking at our newborns. Each day the babies change. It could be their color changing, or their size, or their eyes opening. It is always an exciting time at the Cattery when the babies arrive. We have ordered this page with the most recent videos and pictures at the top then going to Day 1 at the bottom. Enjoy Pansy's newborns as much as we do. If you are interested in being on the wait list for one of our litters, please fill out the "Kitten Application" and return to us. More information on our policies are found on the Prices and Policies Page. Serious only inquiries please.

Schann Westbrook - Photographer
June 13, 2015
On June 13, 2015, Schann Westbrook and her daughter Summer, came to the Cattery to enjoy the day playing with the four litters (Pansy, Hydrangea, Holly and Diamond's babies). Schann, Summer and her friend and I had a great afternoon together. Schann has provided us wonderful memories of the day. Enjoy her special photographs from that day of Pansy and Toy's litter. She was definitely a hit. You can catch the full photo shoot of four litters at The Feline Photography of Purry Paw Prints.

The kittens are doing great! They are weaned now and are potty trained. They have full access to the Toddler Room and are taking advantage of it by running everywhere. This litter has terrific personalities. They now run up to me as soon as I enter the room and want to be held and loved. That is so special. Enjoy their Victorian Chamber Pot Photo Shoot.

Pansy's 3 Week Old Kitten's Video
April 28, 2015
Pansy and Toy's kittens turned 3 weeks old this past Saturday. All are Bi-Colored, with a Blue and White Persian, Red and White Persian and a Blue and White Bi-Color Himalayan. These are very sweet babies just like their mother. We will be starting the potty training and weaning as time allows this week. We are working now on getting the Toddler Room ready for them. Tonight we put out their Feline Pine litter box. Today they got to try the Young Again Little Bites which they promptly spit out. LOL. We will start them this week on our Homemade Cooked Chicken Wet Food with the Young Again CarnivoreRaw Supplements. I had a lot of little helpers today when I was in the Nursery. They just grow up so fast. Enjoy the newest video on our YouTube channel by clicking the link below.

Day 15 Photo Shoot
April 19, 2015
The babies are doing great. The Red Bi-Color has been starting to try to walk for days now, which is amazing. During the Photo Shoot, I was making noise and he came walked right up to me. He is one very smart boy. They all have opened their eyes this past week. They were moved to a new Nursery today that has nice bright natural light. They will have daily walk abouts as they learn to walk. The male Himalayan had me stumped on his coloring. He is showing some blue points but then other spots are white. His nose pad is not slate blue as in a blue point. The same applies to his toe pads. He is definitely a boy so he is not a blue cream. So that only leaves him being a Blue and White Bi-Color Himalayan. It means that his Himalayan points will be blue and white. It is hard to find any pictures on the internet for a Blue and White Bi-Color Himalayan kitten. CFA does not even have a class code for these special color types but breeders are working on getting the class recognized. Since his nose pad is pink, he should have a white inverted "V" on his nose and face like his siblings, but his will only be on his Himalayan mask. His ears are blue. One side of his body, his points are blue and the other side is white. It will be very interesting to see him develop. The female Blue and White Bi-Color Persian now has a cute gotee, similar to Diamond's black gotee.

Day 5 of Pansy and Toy's Newborns
April 9, 2015
You can almost see blue on Pansy's Himi, at least that is how it looks to me. Usually the Cattery's Seal Himis start showing their Seal color around Day 5 and sometimes early in the ears and legs. But this Himi is only showing a purplish color on his ears and his legs are still white. That is leading me to believe he is a Blue Point Himalayan, which would be a first for us. He is one chubby boy as you can tell from the pictures. When he sleeps, he is flat out with his front paws back along his side instead of out in front. Make sure to watch the incredible video of his brother already kneading dough on the nipple. The video is below.

5 Day Old Persian Newborn Already Kneading Dough
April 9, 2015
You ask why is this so incredible ... well ... in all my years of breeding, I have never seen a newborn, especially one this young, kneading dough as it nurses on mom. Yes, kittens do knead dough but at much older ages, not normally within the first week of life when they are newly born. Watch as this very happy and very healthy 5 day old Red and White Bi-Color CPC Persian male purrs and kneads dough on his mother Pansy. He actually started purring on Day 2 of his life. This is one very smart baby and one I predict will be a lap kitten. Yesterday for instance, he was rolling around well I was rubbing his belly. He is so very young to already being doing this. Pansy is making this litter a breeze to have. You could not find a better mother. Overnight in a 12 hour period, each baby gained from 8 to 15 ounces. This is the amount of what an average kitten should gain for the full 24 hour period. Be sure to "Like" the video if you enjoyed watching it. Thanks. Susan

Pansy's Babies - Day 2
April 6, 2015
Pansy's 2 day old newborns are fattening up nicely. Pansy's milk should come in tomorrow,Tuesday or Wednesday, and their weight will really take off. Today, they each gained between 8 to 11 grams on mom's Colostrum and no supplemental feeding. YEAH!! Pansy is a trooper and an excellent mom. I can't believe how quiet these babies are when they nurse. The only action besides nursing is the Bi-Colors wanting each other's nipples. Here are some of the pictures I took today of the cutie pies. I think they are all going to be doll faced kittens but will really have to wait till their eyes are completely open to tell for sure. The Bi-Colors were already born will nice long fur. I was looking on line last night at red and white and blue and white Persian kitten pictures. Oh my, the Red and White Bi-Color Persian kittens are gorgeous. It was hard to even find many pictures of a Blue and White Bi-Color Persian kitten. I can't wait till these babies develop. The Himi is just starting to show some ear color but it is still too early to tell. I am hoping for the Cattery's first Blue Point HImi. My gut tells me it might be a Flame Point. As it is, this will be our first Red and White Bi-Color kitten and our first Blue and White Bi-Color Kitten so I am very happy. Stay tuned for more news and photos, including a video.

HAPPY EASTER
FROM VICTORIAN GARDENS CATTERY
We just love this time of year ... new birth ... new life. Trees are budding and flowers are coming up. What is happening outside the walls of Victorian Gardens Cattery is happening inside the walls of Victorian Gardens Cattery ... new birth ... new life. It is such a wonderful time.
Yesterday, Saturday, April 4th between the hours of 4:40 p.m. and 8:40 p.m., Pansy delivered three healthy babies. We were expecting more and actually left her in the Delivery Room into the wee hours of the morning thinking just maybe she was not quite done delivering. Well, I guess she is through. The babies are doing great. All are nursing and gaining weight. It is nice not to have to supplement feed. Pansy is doing the best I have seen her after a delivery. All three of her babies are about the same length. Some had more fat on their bones in the womb. These are going to be big cats by the size of their paws. They nurse quietly. I am not quite sure on the sex of a couple of them. Of course, colors can change over time as red might come out in coats. But so far, here is what the babies coats look like: Red and White Bi-Color Male CPC Persian, Himalayan Male (Color to be determined) and a Blue and White Bi-Color Female CPC Persian (This may change to a Blue Cream if red shows up later in the coat). I was able to get a few pictures today. I will post more pictures and videos soon.
