Extreme Face Female Black and White Bi-Color CPC Persian
Adopted by the Tracy Family in Wilmington, NC
Aspen was our first Bi-Color Persian born at our Cattery. When she was a baby, she bore the spitting image of her mother Diamond in the face and paws. The only real difference was where the coloring ended around the nose. She is one beautiful baby. She has a very nice coat thanks to her father Miracle. She has the longest ear tuffs, a mark of the Stepp'nstone line. She is cobby, heavy boned and beautiful. This litter girl was a go getter and her personality was strong willed. I think she got that from her mother's side. She found the perfect home where they love her personality.
On November 26, 2014, our Aspen went with her new family to her new home in Wilmington, NC. The Tracy's are no strangers to our Cattery. In the summer of 2013, they adopted our Maxwell Joel (Max), a Pansy and Willie baby. Due to Max being a Willie baby, I knew that Max would appreciate a companion when the family was working during the day. I was so happy when the Tracy family contacted the Cattery to add a second kitten to their family. Each time the Tracy family has come to the Cattery to choose their kitten, it has been a family decision. Each time, Justin has gravitated almost immediately to the kitten that spoke to his heart. From what I hear, both Max and Justin are a very happy boys. Here are the pictures and comments that Laurie, her mother, has sent in via email.

November 26, 2014: "Max sits at the door to get in to see her. He wouldn't play with her but only watched ever move! Boy she is fast! Max is smelling her butt a lot - I assume that is normal. They both seem to find each other interesting. Aspen was cleaning herself after eating and Max rushed up and she licked him in the mouth. Hopefully they will settle in nicely😀. Aspen is napping again already so,we have left her alone for a bit. More to come soon."
November 28, 2014: "As for Max and Aspen; we got a little concern late Wednesday when we put them together. Max still just watching put started running up to her quickly and looked like he was bitting. Still no hissing or anything but I couldn't tell if he were trying to play or attacking. Thurs AM we got back together and again a little stalking and chasing by Max (looked a lot like play but we weren't sure) so they stayed apart most of the day as we had company late afternoon. Anyway Paul thought we should take Max with us to the vet. I figured the vet would think we were crazy only having the kitten 1 1/2 days and being so concerned that they aren't best buddies. Paul is inpatient to say the least. Dr. Williams felt they were fine & he wouldn't hurt her. She is in the room napping still & Max is hanging with me. This was a cute picture(not the best quality). They both let them hang their heads out the top opening. We are going to give them a little more room to play when Paul comes home from work and see how they do. I'll keep you posted." "Yes I forgot two Important things. Weights Aspen 3.4lbs and stool sample was negative. And Max a whooping 11.2. Of course we will not dare leave them alone. And yes I think Aspen is loving us too. She has a big purr! Definitely wants lots of attentions. She does seem a little interested in playing with Max but I stop them quick."
December 1, 2014: "Hello, just had a nice play session and now they are chilling on the dining room table. She started growling at him yesterday (or day before actually) and he backs off pretty good. Still he bits & holds her down but I am on him so quick he moves away often before she calls out. It almost seems he is sad she wants to play with him. He still doesn't play feather or string game with Aspen and me but he will sit with us while we play. Interesting. I've tried everything. Also interesting he sleeps upstairs with Justin every night and today he was up there playing himself (Q-tip). I took that game away from Aspen cause she pulls off the cotton. Anyway things are getting better but I thing we still have a long way to go ( or maybe not - I can't be sure) definitely better. More soon." "Yes she is much more needy or maybe it is demanding. Much more talkative then Max too. She also purrs a lot too. Paul calls it a 'typical' girl. But you are right, I can see they will likely be buddies. They were eating out of the same bowl together. Yes Max is starting to eat healthy again. We do have improvement so that is great. Hope all is going well for you! Thanks again for all the advice. Best regards,Laurie"
December 10, 2014:"Good morning,Time does fly so fast. Sorry I haven't emailed in a while. All is going well. Max and Aspen seem to be getting along well. I still break up scuffles when them seem to be getting too rough. She will chase back after Max but I still am not sure it is all play once he gets really going. I don't leave them alone when we leave the house or go to bed. Hopefully this will not be the case for long. There are tender moments too. He licks her and she will lick him back for a short while then bats him away. You would think as much time as I spend with them I would have better pictures but here are a few of what I have. As from these pictures you see Max is often very near her. She is eating tons and purrs a lot. She really enjoys being combed too which is great! Best regards, Laurie" "Yes ever since you mentioned how common silver is in the black Persian coat; his has started showing more and more. He is beautiful in looks and spirit! Hopefully some of his sweetness will rub off on Aspen. And yes she doesn't seem hurt; just yelling at him & he looks at me like what did I do wrong as I always call him down(cause he will listen). Justin loves baby Aspen! He loves to play feather with her as she can really jump! She is really sweet and starts purring the minute you touch her. But she doesn't want to be held or sit with you at this point."
December 25, 2014: "Merry Christmas from the Tracy’s. Things are going great… We wish you are Happy New Year also.Paul, Laurie and Justin"
January 21, 2015: "Hello - we have been doing great. I just took these pictures this morning and thought of you. They didn't turn out that great and everyone needed their eyes cleaned but figured I would send them anyway. These two seem to really like each other but still their fighting can get a little rough. Hair is spread around much more with two; we didn't even notice Max shedding before. They do like to be around each other and each chases the other at different times. I went back to work on the 5th so our weekends are very enjoyable. Talk to you again soon. Laurie" "I really wonder what they think of each other! She will lick him back but not as much as he licks her. He really likes her but she still has her way. And boy she can hold her own in the cat rumbles. She can scare Max off every now and then. I love her little self. I wondered if she seems to be growing so much slower cause I wasn't here with Max (at work all week) or is she going to be that much smaller? She has just had a growth spurt. I love her ears. Ah she is so cute!I Always think of you when we get the camera out - I just don't get it enough."
February 27, 2014: "She is so sweet too. When she comes up to you she immediately starts purring and shifting side to side! And they are enjoying each other! They take turns chasing each other. And you often find them resting together too!'
