Victoriangdn's Cartier - Black CPC Persian
Her babies will remain on our Nursery page and then will be made available on the Available Kitten Page. Please enjoy watching the videos and looking at our newborns. Each day the babies change. It could be their color changing, or their size, or their eyes opening. It is always an exciting time at the Cattery when the babies arrive. We have ordered this page with the most recent videos and pictures at the top then going to Day 1 at the bottom. Enjoy Diamond's newborns as much as we do. If you are interested in being on the wait list for one of our litters, please fill out the "Kitten Application" and return to us. More information on our policies are found on the Prices and Policies Page. Serious only inquiries please.

November 22, 2014
On November 22, 2014, Schann Westbrook and her daughter Summer, came to the Cattery to enjoy the day playing with the new litters, holding and loving on them. They got to see Primrose's all Cream boys, Pansy's Seal Points and Tortoiseshell and Diamond's Black and White Bicolor and Black Persian. Schann also brought her camera. We had a fun day filled with both of them gracing the lives of these little ones. Enjoy Schann's newest photo shoot in the slide show above. Feel free to share these great photos.

They Grow Up So Fast
Diamond's 7 Week Old Kitten Video
October 20, 2014
They do grow up so fast ... those delightful babies turn in to kittens. I sigh. Diamond's kittens are now 7 1/2 weeks old and the time has really just flown by. The boy is eating dry food and the girl is eating wet food mixed with dry. She doesn't like dry food and I am trying to trick her. They are still nursing on their mother, Diamond. She has been a much better mother her second time around the block. I think she is actually enjoying her babies this time. Of course, two kittens is a lot easier than 4 kittens. They graduated this past week to access the full Toddler Room. The boy took no time in jumping on the high pink station and making it his domain till he discovered the red playstation had a perfect spot for napping. We produced a video of them this afternoon. You can click on the link below to be taken to our Youtube Channel and the video. Enjoy.

Diamond's Kittens 3 Week Birthday You Tube Video
September 17, 2014
Diamond and Little Miracle's kittens will turn 3 weeks old tomorrow. How time has flown. These two kittens, a Black Persian and a Black and White Bi-color weight more than any of her kittens from her last litter. The little boy is a doll. He is laid back and quiet. I love his little cute ears and his innocent expression. His sister is a character. She is always out and about ... looking around ... always curious. They play very gently with each other. Tomorrow we will start on litter box training with the dreaded Feline Pine that goes everywhere. Then sometime within a week, we will see if they will eat wet food. These both are extreme faced kittens and show quality. The girl is our first Bi-color born at our Cattery. She is stunning and we are seriously considering keeping her at our Cattery as a future breeder and to show. I just love her big head! Her brother has even smaller ears than she has. It is something we have been trying to get at our Cattery ... smaller ears and bigger heads. We produced a video this evening of them. Take a look and get up a close and personal with these two beauties. Just click on the link below to be taken right to the YouTube page.

Diamond and Little Miracle's Babies
August 28, 2014
At 8:15 a.m. this morning, Diamond finally went into labor. One hour later she delivered a mini Diamond at 97 grams. This baby looks so much like her mommy. The black and white coloring is almost in exactly the same spots except where Diamonds white stops right before the nose, this little girls white goes up in a perfect triangle. She also has a white spot half way down her back. I can not tell you how many times today we had to put her back in the incubator. She keep wanting to crawl out. She just wanted her mommy and her mommy's milk. We were able to quiet her with our warm palm circling her. She seems to want the warm and feel of something living next to her. She is going to be a go getter for sure. She latched on to the nipple like there was no tomorrow.
Well after the mini Diamond was born, Diamond stopped contracting. We were worried since the next baby we predicted was next would be huge. So for hours nothing happening. We drove Diamond for an emergency C-Section at Cottage Animal Hospital. The staff was great to take us on an emergency basis. The staff brought in a brought the last kitten to us. It was a Black Persian who was groggy from the anesthetic but was perfectly healthy. I was impressed with the Vet technicians who were rubbing the baby down. When babies are under their mother's anesthetic, it does take them some time to wake up and nurse. When we got home we hand fed the baby some Colostrum. The baby downed 4 syringes of it and then nestled next to his sister to sleep. He or she is 104 grams when we got him/her home. Ok, I am calling it a him but I think it is a girl. I still need more time to tell. Anyway, mom is sleeping with both babies now nursing on her. All is quiet just like we like it.
I want to say a special thank you to Tommy, my ex-husband, for his support throughout the day. He drove us all to the Vet, which allowed me to sit in back and calm Diamond and keep her baby from falling out of the incubation, which the later was no easy task. On the drive back, he sat in the back and did what he is better at than I am ... getting newborns to nurse.
