Her babies will remain on our Nursery page and then will be made available on the Available Kitten Page. Please enjoy watching the videos and looking at our newborns. Each day the babies change. It could be their color changing, or their size, or their eyes opening. It is always an exciting time at the Cattery when the babies arrive. We have ordered this page with the most recent videos and pictures at the top then going to Day 1 at the bottom. Enjoy Diamond's newborns as much as we do. If you are interested in being on the wait list for one of our litters, please fill out the "Kitten Application" and return to us. Moses Nursing On A Lamb Video
July 29, 2014
Watch this adorable 13 week old Black Persian kitten named Moses, nursing on a stuffed white lamb. Moses loves to knead dough on fur blankets but one of our new families brought a stuffed white lamb for their new baby, Orchid. It didn't take any time for Moses to love her lamb. You can see more of Moses and Orchid in Diamond's Nursery 2014. Moses and Orchid are from a litter of four all Black Persians. Enjoy. It really is precious.

Diamond's Rambunctious Kitten's Video
11 Weeks Old
July 18, 2014
Yesterday was a big day for Diamond's kittens. They had their first Veterinarian Health Checkup at Cottage Animal Clinic. It is about a 50 minute drive from the Cattery. The kittens were angels in the car and went right off to sleep in the playpen in the back section of the SUV. They were perfect angels at the Vet. Dr. Manning gave them a clean bill of health. He is so impressed with the kittens that Willie Wonka has been producing.
Yesterday we also taped a new video of Diamond and Willie's 11 week old very rambunctious kittens as they were tearing through the Toddler Room. About a month ago, I was finally able to tell the four black Persian kittens apart. They are all love pies with the two boys being kissers. You have already seen Black Velvet Petunia modeling for Southern Charm. Have fun seeing these kittens playing up close and personal. Just click on the link to go directly to the YouTube Video. Enjoy!

DIAMOND'S 6 WEEK OLD KITTEN'S VIDEO
June 16, 2014
We brought down Diamond's 6 week old kittens from the Nursery to the Toddler Room last night after we had disinfected the Toddler Room floor and put up the fence. We have the fence up so that they are limited to the canvas rug since we are still working on potty training them and weaning them on to dry food. The mother, Diamond, is from a new outcross line and so we are having to adapt to this litters timing for weaning and potty training. We produced a video this morning of Diamond's kittens playing in the Toddler Room and you can see Holly watching them and wanting so much to play with them. Since filming the video, our Black Velvet Petunia was the first kitten to start eating the Young Again dry food. Up to this point, we have had a hard time weaning them on to dry food and are so happy to see that our girl was the first to start today. They love the extra room and are running around and having a ball in their new space.

Hand Feeding Young Kittens Video
May 24, 2014
We had an extremely busy day today at our Cattery. Dave Russo and his lovely wife, Lila Forro, came to visit. Dave is our Photographer. They both have been coming for about 1 1/2 years now to visit our current litter and photograph them. They are the Flame Brother's parents. The Flame Brothers are Jonah from Peony's Litter in 2013 and Toshi (Solomon) from Primrose's Litter in 2012. We always have a blast when they come to visit. Today was no exception. But it was a special day for Dave and Lila since this was the first time ever that they were able to hand feed our 3 week old kittens. They had been looking forward to it all week and had even bought brand new suits for the occasion. The suits were to keep Diamond's Nursery sterile. We really appreciate their thoughtfulness in protecting our babies. They had a ball loving the kittens and feeding them. We even were able to get in a tutorial video on how we hand feed our babies that need supplemental feeding when our mother is not making enough milk. We are downloading the video now on to YouTube and it should be ready soon for viewing. Just click on the link to go to it:

After the babies were full and satisfied with milk, we took them to our Pregnancy Room for their first ever Photo Shoot. Sorry but it is very hard still to distinguish one kitten from the other without looking at their bottoms. The Photo Shoot of Diamond's 3 week old kittens will be available once Dave is able to go through the hundreds of photos he took, pick the best ones and logo them. So stay tuned. Once we had finished that Photo Shoot, the babies were exhausted and falling asleep. The babies when back to their Nursery to sleep.
Dave took well over 1000 pictures for the day, so it will take time to go through all of them and pick the best and then logo them. So stay tuned for the publishing of his Photo Shoots on our website and on our Facebook page.

Diamond's Babies First Walk Video
May 12, 2014
Yesterday, Diamond's 11 day old litter of four Black Persians had their first walk. They did a great job getting in and out of their birthing cage to walk around the Nursery. They had just been fed via a nipple and syringe since their Mother, Diamond, has not been producing enough milk for these big babies. We are helping by supplemental feeding them once or twice a day depending on their weight increase. We weight them about two to three times a day to make sure they are gaining enough. We will plan on doing their first photo shoot within the next week. You can view the video by clicking on the link below that will take you right to our YouTube channel. Please "like" the video on YouTube if you like it.

Diamond's All Black Litter Video
May 7, 2014
Diamond's babies turned one week old today. They are doing great. They have been a talkative litter of criers. It could be their personality or that Diamond was not producing enough milk for these babies. These babies were born the largest we have ever had at our Cattery. Even the smallest of the litter, a girl, weighted as much as the largest newborn we have ever had at our Cattery. That is a lot of milk for one new mother to come up with so we have been supplemental feeding at least one time a day. The first week, most newborns just nurse and sleep and this is what this litter has been doing. They are just starting to play. In the next week, they will open their eyes. We are excited to see their development as they open their eyes and start to play more with not just themselves, but each other. They truly are beautiful. You can watch their video by clicking on the link.

Diamond's Babies
April 30, 2014
This evening between the hours of 8:20 p.m. and 9:45 p.m., our Diamond delivered 4 very healthy and rambunctious babies ... and I mean rambunctious. That Kitty Bloom Wate really makes them active. Diamond made this delivery a breeze compared to my girl's line. She pretty much grunted or panted. I don't believe she hissed once. So far, it is looking like an all black Persian litter. At this point, it looks like two girls and two boys. We finally got to meet the kitten that was kicking so much. It turned out to be a very heavy boy, baby #2. Now for the weights ... these babies are the heaviest weighted babies that our Cattery has ever produced at birth. The largest baby at birth prior to this litter was 96 grams at birth. Here is the information on these very active babies:
Baby #1 - 95 grams/3.35 oz - Black Extreme Female CPC Persian, Carrying Chocolate. Quiet. Sex is still in question.
Baby #2 - 114 grams/4.02 oz - Black Extreme Male CPC Persian, Carrying Chocolate. Very rambunctious.
Baby #3 - 98 grams/3.46 oz - Black Extreme Female CPC Persian, Carrying Chocolate. The screamer.
Baby #4 - 110 grams/3.88 oz - Black Extreme Male CPC Persian, Carrying Chocolate. The crier. Sex is still in question.
