Victorian Gardens Cattery is focused on the health and well being of our cats and kittens, and the promotion of the Persian and Himalayan breeds. Our kittens are bred and raised in a loving home environment with very personal attention throughout, and we are dedicated to placing them in forever homes where we will have confidence they will be loved, cared for and can thrive.
Due to the significant amount of time it takes for us to vet a kitten applicant, we recommend the following to ensure acceptance of your Kitten Application:
* Thoroughly review all of the information we have made available on our website, especially with regard to health and nutrition;
* Research Persian and Himalayan Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) at other Catteries, before making your decision to get a kitten from us. We are dedicated to only breeding non-HCM Persian and Himalayan cats;
* Be prepared to describe your life time commitment to providing a forever loving and capable home to your kitten.
We are devoted to placing our kittens and cats in responsible and loving homes. This decision deserves your time and research. After you have done your research and are serious to adopt a kitten or cat from us, we would love to receive your Kitten Application.

Our Victorian Gardens Cattery Kitten Application is required to be filled out in order to be considered for the adoption of one of our Persian and Himalayan kittens or cats. You may email or mail in the Kitten Application to us. The Kitten Application is available in WORD format, PDF Format and XPS format below. If you are unable to download and print out the application, please contact us and we will mail you the application. Once we have received the application back via email or mail, we will review the application and contact you by phone. If you do not hear back from us within 48 hours of sending us the application by email or six days from sending us by regular mail, please contact us. Please do not return the application through email except in the formats listed below or paper through the US Mail. Our computer system does not except Apple format. Thank you.
Victorian Gardens Cattery has the express right to cancel a Sales Contract with a Purchaser, if at any time prior to the kitten leaving the Cattery, Victorian Gardens Cattery determines that the placement of a kitten with the Purchaser will be harmful in any way to the kitten or Victorian Gardens Cattery. All monies paid to Victorian Gardens Cattery towards the purchase price of the kitten, will be refunded to the Purchaser if Victorian Gardens Cattery cancels this contract under this clause.

Victorian Gardens Cattery has a strict policy not to adopt one of our kittens or cats to a home that has not had its cats and kittens tested for feline diseases such as FELV and FIV, and are vaccinated and up to date on vaccinations. A purebred kitten, even though thoroughly vaccinated, has a weaker immune system than a purebred adult cat. We do not want to put any of our kittens in harms way by adopting it into a home that has unvaccinated or out of date vaccinated pets. We will also not adopt out one of our kittens or cats to a home where there has been a cat or kitten that has Feline Leukemia or who has died of the disease within 12 months of the date of the application. This is to protect our kittens from harm. Please do not submit an application if you have not kept your cats up to date on annual vaccines. We do contact an applicant's past and current Veterinarians as part of our standard vetting process on any of our Kitten Applications, including for kittens and our available adults.

Age Limit Policy: We do have an age limit policy for adopting one of our kittens or cats. This age limit is based on a human life expectancy rate of 80 years old plus a Persian cat's life expectancy rate of 15 years old. In order to adopt a kitten from us, you must be 65 years old or younger. For an adult cat, the age limit is on an individual cat basis and is based on probably remaining years life expectancy of the cat minus the 80 year old life expectancy of a human. Due to recent problems we have had with applicants and one adoptive family, we will not deviate from our policy.

ANY INTENTIONAL DISINFORMATION FOUND ON A KITTEN APPLICATION DURING OUR VETTING PROCESS, WILL RESULT IN THE KITTEN APPLICATION BEING IMMEDIATELY DENIED.********************************
We do call an Applicant's Veterinarian for a reference. In order to expedite the processing of your Kitten Application, please notify your Veterinarian's Office PRIOR TO turning in an Application, that we will be calling and give them authorization to talk to us. Failure to call your Veterinarian ahead of time, will delay the vetting process and may result in your Kitten Application being rejected.
If an Applicant is approved, the Applicant has 2 days to pay their Kitten or Cat Deposit after they have been notified of their application's approval. Please do not submit a Kitten or Cat Deposit unless you hear from us that your application has been approved. If more time is needed to pay your Kitten Application, please request an extension by contracting us.
